ESsayOS is an educational tool designed around the idea of allowing students to write tests and in class essays on a computer rather than hand writing. In todays classrooms, typed out words are a lot easier on both students and teachers, but with the risk of cheating when typing on online services such as Google Drive, hand written in class assignments and essays are commonly held. ESsayOS allows students to write essays, and tests on a computer in typed format, and submit to teachers on other services such as Turnitin, without the risk of cheating. A simplified and restricting UI, along with programming which detects when a student is no longer in the program- ESsayOS gives all students the ability to write tests and assignments without the hand strain.
